Design 4 Disaster was designed for a family who needed temporary housing after a natural disaster occurred and took everything from them. The housing needed to be placed inside a shipping container for portability and also bring the gap between tent and home living. The concept for this design was to create a relaxing, yet functional environment for the end user during this time of need and tragedy. Research, site analysis, volunteering services, community awareness, and color psychology played a huge part in the concept and design.
