Arnett School Library
A redesign was proposed of the school library in Arnett, Oklahoma. As the libraries purpose is changing, a new layout was created by making zones for different age groups activities. The reception desk was relocated for the librarian to be able to see what students were coming in and able to keep the storage closets behind secure. A café area is a central feature in the space allowing the kids to have a designated snack and drinks area. A large stem area is a space available for workshops and group projects. The colors of the space are used to draw students in and make them want to hang out in the library no matter what their grade level.
Group Project: Tessa Cotton, Rachel Rengstorf, Nikki Rodriguez, Maria Mateus, Adriana Nunez, and Jamie Newsom.
