The purpose of Stonegate Office Building is to restore the Stonegate Elementary School building and embrace its original style. Built in 1963 in Oklahoma City, Stonegate is full of mid- century qualities. By keeping the terrazzo block walls, exterior materials, and general floor plan of the building, the historic nature of the school is preserved. The East wing of the building serves the community as a new co- working area and provides a variety of seating, conference room, and other amenities for its users. The co- working space also features offices for young start up companies to grow into. The Stonegate offices are simple, feature moveable furniture, and materials such as wood veneer, LVT, carpet tile, and wall covering- all which preserve the original materials. The style of Stongeate Offices keeps the traditional mid century modern style of the building while incorporating new office trends.
