CONCEPT STATEMENT
This single-level idyllic home with organic modern design is located in the village, Oklahoma City. The owner family are a young couple with a daughter. Considering the mum is low vision, the overall layout is very open with spacious clear circulation. A beautiful garden can be accessed from the living room and the main bathroom. Blending modern and rural vernacular forms, expansive windows at the rear facade captures magnificent woodsy views that can be admired through different seasons.
Inspired by the view of the secret garden, the interior blends a wide range of exquisite natural materials and textures — oak, walnut, terrazzo, marble and steel. The color palette is high contrast neutral color with maple yellow, water blue and spring green. A giant fish tank in the living area is right to the entrance of the garage and also in the middle of the circulation center.
Overall, this beautiful interior design creates an organic fresh and functional environment that is perfect for this growing family.
