THE SCOTTISH WOODSMAN
Legends tell of The Scottish Woodsman who roams the forests of Scotland.
The prompt was to simply create an urban legend. I mulled over many different ideas but couldn't decide on what kind of monster I wanted to create. I eventually settled on the deer idea but it still wasn't working for me. I played with it some more until realizing I needed to start fresh. I started sketching with the intent of creating a humanoid monster and finally settled on the idea of The Scottish Woodsman. I enjoyed this character much more and the illustration came together more easily.
